So my next door neibor and i split the cost of internet. So because were so close he has a wifi router. My computer uses a usb internet adapter and i get like 90% signal...... but my ps3 only pick up 15% for some reason. so i bought on ebay this access point adapter called "Wifi Link" made by "mayflash". (which is also usb). so when i install the driver for "wifi link" it changes the driver for my "internet adapter", so when i change the "internet adapter" back to the correct driver, it chages the driver on the "wifi link" to the driver for the "internet adapter". if i use the internet card that slide in the side of my labtop it works, but the connection is REALLY BAD, like 8%-12%. basicaly i want to receve my internet through my usb internet adapter, and brodcast the signal through the "wifi link" i get to my ps3.... like the device says... please help.
just to clear things up, i use hawkings wireless internet adapter (usb) to receve my internet to my computer, i bought "wifi link" to make an access point so i can get better reception to my ps3. when i install the wifi link driver without my adapter plugged in it works and connects to my ps3, but when i plug in my internet adapter to my computer, the computer thinks its the same device, it even changes the name and everything.and vice-versa, if i have the hawkings internet adapter up and running and i have good internet, as soon as i install the driver for the "wifi link"then plug the device in, it changes the driver on my hawkings internet adapter to "wifi link". so under device management there will displayed 2 deviced named "wifi link" how can i have the driver for the wifi link and the driver for the internet adapter work together? what am i doing wrong?
