Fixing an IPOD
A friend of mine is giving me a broken IPOD for an old nintendo 64. He said he had it in his car all winter and when he brought it in, it wouldn't charge. He turned it on, and it came on for a second, but turned back off because he had a low battery. How might I fix this? Could a new battery help? Maybe a new charger? I don't get any cords with it, so I have to buy a charger. Can you charge it via USB?
And, by the way. It is a 40GB. I'm not sure what generation.
dont do that! keep the n64! but w/e if you wanna trade it thats up to you, you can buy a charger, if that doesnt work then you can buy a new battery, oh yeah and you can charge it ia USB but you can only charge it via USB if you have the ipod cable
i'll give you a broken psp (not bricked) for it if you dont want it :P
Is the screen black or white, and where are the buttons? That determines the gen.
You can get a cable to charge it up with just about anywhere for about $10.
It's not broken, it's just that battery is drained. Charge it up for a good six hours and you should be good to go.
thanks guys. people on this forum reply FAST.
Okay, I got the Ipod. I can't get it to turn on or anything, so I am assuming the battery is dead. I am going to buy A USB cable/charger, and chargin it for a few hours and prayin its gonna work. If the battery is dead, will it still turn on plugged in usb?
PS: im pretty sure it is a 3rd generation 30GB Ipod.
