Default PSP Events

Is there any easy way to create events with the PSP kernel functions? I'm trying to make a graphical menu library. When buttons and check boxes are pressed an event should be called. Data for the buttons and check boxes are stored as objects. I want to be able to create objects from my library and give them functions for any data_type, to be used as event handlers.

Since creating events is very complex in c++, are there any functions I can use from the psp libraries to make event handling much easier?

Thank you.

He must come from programming for Windows.
The PSP stuff isn't event driven, you have to check for button presses,
or make something that does.

This is why I don't like all these fancy IDEs and abstract APIs.

Step out of your little Visual Studio™ sandbox and come play with the big boys
