This is a problem that the guys who are developing Wagic (link) are currently having. It is something that doesnt happen all the time but is a nagging issue and sometimes will happen all the time. Its rendering dual screens that are all purple. Its not supposed to do either.

i use to have the same bug with one of my app. it seems it has to do with the GU of the psp. The problem i had it with the network dialog used by sony and the keyboard together in one code. It may have been something in the address of the bliting list and the dialog or something but i at least conformed for my self it definitely had to do with the GU. this may be why someone people had the same bug with the graphic lib and other with the oslib. If im right all use the psp GU lib to blit to the screen. I fix my bug by redoing it all over(The GU Part At least). Note: by the way i thought it was kind of cool if it had proper colors and if we could define what is blited on each screen.
