the short version: does anyone know how to configure the PSP remote UART (SIO) to
use parity checking (even/odd)?
- Thanks to plenty available code for SIO interfacing I
can open the port at desired baud rate, perform read/write, but unfortunately I found
no way how to change from no parity to use even/odd parity bit, which I need for the
counterpart of the interface.
I'm at writing some app to interface the information bus of my car to use the
car stereo (and wheel buttons) as remote for a music player on the PSP. The
protocol used requires 9600 baud, 8 data bits, even parity and one stop bit. When
initializing PSP sio for 9600 baud (I assume default is no parity) communication
with the ibus does not work
Any hints are highly appreciated! Thank you-
