Is there some limitation against programming one?
I'm sure it'd be possible to do so. I'll do some research and see what I come up with. Even if we are able to only connect to a server and retrieve text contents, it can grow in the future.
I'll do some research and report back.
I did some research, as sockets are available on the PSP, it should be possible to use the basic functions to retrieve the html code of a webpage. I need to do some more research on ps2dev.org to get more info about socket functions, but afterwards it shouldn't be too hard to get the text out of the html that we will retrieve from the site. For those of you with some programming experience, all we have to do is send the GET / HTTP/1.0 command through the socket and the website will reply with the HTML.
I'll report back again after researching socket functions.
I looked at the ps2dev PSP wiki... There's two libraries that should be very useful...
sceHttp and sceParseHttp
