Okay, so it took only 9 years to install my Zen Vision: M on my PC right. I can finally get music on there using WinAmp (WinAmp just plain ****in' pwns, man. I swear), but now have a new problem. I can't get videos on there no matter what!
Here's the spec sheet for the Zen Vision: M of what it can play and what I can't play. You would think that you cant just put .avi files and .wmv files on there would be cake right? Wrong! No matter what I do, I just can't seem to put them on my player. When I drag the file I want to the "Video" folder, which I always make sure is .avi right, a message would come up saying that it's incompatible. Then, when I try to convert using either Creative Mediasource Organizer or Zen Vision: M Explorer I get this message:
Which makes "0" sense considering I have K-lite installed, as well as PowerDVD which came with Media Center, thus supposedly covering the codec situation.
I am really getting just about enough of this 'Zen Vision' bullshat and thinking of selling it to buy an iPod. I've never had much issues putting videos on an iPod and it seems like Creative actually enjoys making things difficult! Can anyone help me? Thanks.
