Best 22" Monitor You'll Ever Find
The LG 22" L227WT. To start it includes a 5000:1 contrast ratio, with the ability of creating a software-driven 10000:1 contrast ratio, it can display 100% of the color gamut, a 2ms responce rate, and 170 degrees viewing angles. So it's pretty much on par with a lot of HDTVs out there. The standard high-end monitors usually include 1000:1 contrast ratios, 92% of the color gamut, and have a 5-7ms reponce rate so these are some amazing specs for a computer monitor. It came out in the UK in November at a US-equivalent price of $450, so we should probably see it for around $400 when it releases in the US. Does anyone have any info on when these are coming out in the US? I tried calling LG to find out, but they're currently closed. Their current L226WT is better than most monitors on the market, but this L227WT should be worth waiting for. I really hope we see these in stores within the next two weeks, if not I'll probably settle on the L226WT.
