I just copy the exploit to my memory card using AR MAX and it boots up with 95% of my PS1 games, lol. Once in the exploit I copy over the homebrew I want to run. That's alls to it.
Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3.6ghz (Multiplier: 9x; Bus: 400mhz; FSB: 1600mhz;)
GeForce 9800 GTX+ 512 MB (Core: 850mhz; Memory: 1200mhz; Shader: 2100mhz;)
ASUS P5K Pro Motherboard
Patriot Extreme (2x2GB) / OCZ HPC (2x1GB)
6GB Total Dual Channel RAM (DDR2 1066mhz)
OCZ GameXstream 700w
2x Seagate 250GB HD (RAID0)
This is better if you don't have an AR because you get a hard drive. Also when you start one of the PS1 games that boots the exploit what actually starts?
The way I do it is so it only happens with one game.
Can you brick a PS2 Like a PSP?
There's only one way to do it, and it involves changing your system ID (to hack your way into DNAS-enabled games). Which you probably won't do.

Yeah, launchelf. What I do is I make the title.db for the id of the chosen ps1 game, then I copy that, launchelf named as boot.elf and a file included with launchelf called launchelf.cnf to my usb stick, then boot launch elf using the exploit on my PS2 and copy the files to the other memory card.
PGen is a descent Megadrive (Genesis outside the EU) emulator, brought back memories of playing my old games on the big screen (and not just a 4 inch screen )
hurry with the slimline section :)
I will I'm just figuring out the best thing to suggest, I think there *may* be a way to get the independence exploit working on it but it may require a modchip or a way to already run homebrew.
Unfortunately the Exploit was patched completely on the Slim PS2.
Unless you want to fork out £30-£50 for a modchip :)
nah i'll buy one for £4 from dealextreme. (Im not lying)
