Lol. I do that sort of thing on Chrono Cross. All the other characters are meh.

i used everyone because if your main party died you had a back up that were also amazing

Vaan Basch and Fran(lol). It sucks your restricted to only 3 people in your party it should be 4 and you would have to drop someone when a guest joins.

what do you mean?

Anyways, I use Vaan and Basch in my party...ALWAYS..

the 3rd character is a rotation between the other 4 characters.

which is why this is how my party's levels are:

Vaan Lv. 31
Basch Lv. 31
Balthier Lv. 26
Fran Lv. 26
Ashe Lv. 26
Penelo Lv. 26

I mean you have 4 people in your party at all times and when a guest joins your team you have to drop someone for the guest to take a spot on your party.

Vaan level 68
Fran level 15

Basch level 68

best equipment :Masamune,Genji armor and excalibur.

i'm fine with 3 the game isn't any harder or easier with or without it.
the game isn't even that hard at all for me.

when i beat it my characters where in their late 70's i think.
it's just too bad that the story doesn't really get exciting until the end.

ya, way too many fillers in this FF game, though right now i'm training and getting items and hunting ranks cause I had a problem with fighting with the 4th esper you encounter storywise.

i got stuck in the great crystal for like 5 hours,.i managed to find ultima there to my suprise omega mk XIII was there too and excalibur.

yeah i agree with the filler thing,it's really too bad that it won't be enjoyable for most people who like ff for stories.
At least the gameplay is addicting enough for you to wade through that 60+ hours.

yeah, i have it almost exactly the same, but i always have Vaan in party, sometimes (after i finally got the damn Embroidered Tippet) i gave him the Embroidered Tippet to double his EXP, so my party is like:
Vaan: lvl 83
Balthier: lvl 63
Fran: lvl 66
Basch: lvl 67
Ashe: lvl 68
Penelo: lvl 72

i'm not totally sure as to the exact lvls of my party, but these are the around numbers. im really trying to lvl everyone up to 99, to fight Yiazmat *dread music, "doo doo doooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooo" * lol, i think its kinda over the top to give him 50 million HP FFS! i lvl up using tournesol on whoever im lvling up at the time ALONE in tchita uplands and cerobi steppe. the ring wyrms give lots of EXP normally, and if your only using 1 person, its tripled, then Embroidered Tippet doubles that , so you lvl up alot rlly fast, even Vaan(remember, lvl 83, next lvl: 593872 EXP or something like that... giant #s of EXP go POOF with Embroidered Tippet (sheesh, now i sound like a freaking advertisment), so get it! (Old Archades)).
