I'm just wondering, what are some good games for 2 players, that also are fun for 1 player?

This would include games with co-op, and games where you can play multi-player against bots.

I personally prefer the latter of those two over the first.

Games I already have with co-op and/or bots:
Halo 1/2
Unreal Championship 1/2
Battlefront 1/2
Conker Live and Reloaded

I also plan to get counterstrike, my friend said that it has bots.

So, what else?

BTW: I'm asking this because I plan to get a big-screen tv soon, and I want some good 2 player games for xbox for when I have a one friend over.
Also, I'm a fan of shooters, but also of other good multiplayer games, e.g. hack n' slash games.

I've already played
Marvel
Xmen Legends 1 and 2
Dungeons and Dragons heroes

Just an FYI.

You should get a 360 :P.

If not, try Battlefield. I forget if thats co op, its been a while. Its cheap too.
Half Life 2. Its so amazing. But no 2 player what so ever. I would say its worth it though.

Why buy games for a dead console?

Battlefield doesn't have co-op unfortunately, already own it.

And I'd rather not have one player games, my PC is set for those.

Just get a $400 console with at least $200 worth of good games? I will eventually, but for now there's no need, and not enough funding.

I'm sure there are more. And there are definitely some 2 player RPG/Hack 'n Slash games I missed.
