I bought a dreamcast yesterday and i am loving it but now im having this feeling that i no longer want a ps3 for christmas instead i have the feeling of wanting more dreamcast stuff am i going mad or is this normal?

dude, go download hella dreamcast games, and burn em. It's totally worth it. Plus, the dreamcast stuff on ebay can get pretty cheap.

and GET THE VGA BOX (from ebay) it makes the picture SO much clearer.

My question is why would you buy a dreamcast game? Its not like dreamcast has any protection against burned games.

I don't want to burn them because i love the cases and prefer to have the games and Manuel plus i don't know how.

By the way whats the VGA box?

The Dreamcast is an amazing console, and I doubt I will ever find anything to replace it.

I had two but lost them, but I'm picking up a brand new one next week, boxed and all!

Aww, man, get yourself Soul Calibur for the DC and you'll see what a fighter is truly supposed to be about. The best fighter of all time is on that one machine and no other else.

Oh and I'm not afraid to admit it, I actually enjoyed Blue Stinger a bit when we had it. At the time, the game felt really amazing to play and I still remember it that way.

Ah man, I remember I got SC on launch day and I was amazed.

The DC was interesting because although it didn't have any "epic" titles like Final Fantasy 7, or Goldeneye it was the one console that produced consitently good games.

It is true. It was right before the dreamcast dropped. They released a few new models that doesn't play burnt games. You shouldn't have much luck finding one, being they are really rare to get.

I still have my dreamcast. I have a personal few favorites on it. Shenmue 1 and Shenmue 2(I got this from my bud who had it imported from Europe, has English subs, so its playable.)
And of course Sonic Adventure 1 and 2.

dreamcasts made before october 2001 will let you play burned games (it'll say on the bottom)
