lol i've had Super mario all stars my whole life and i've never beaten "the lost levels"*which is the real smb2* so a couple a weeks ago i sat down and decided to try and beat it. now here i am a few weeks later and i'm at 7-3. i've almost beat it

it's incredibly freakin hard though.

I beat a couple weeks ago, oh just to bum you out there is 9 worlds, if you didn't take any warps after world 9 there is A B C D ( I think, i don't really remember, but there is something after world 9)

World 9 is technically bonus levels because you beat bowser at world 8-4.

Anyways congrats, that game can get really annoying depending on your SMB skill level... It took me about a day to get through it, it was depressing considering that I raped Super Mario Brothers.

lol man it was so hard getting through 7-1 it took me like 60 tries to beat it. and after that i was "holy **** man after playing this super mario brothers is probably gonna be cake" and it was lol i got to world 7 in smb in less than 10 minuites using the warp pipe found in 1-2 to get to world 5

I never got past level 2. How the hell do you do that long jump.

No you didn't, you found a warp to world 4, at world 4-2 you can either warp to 5 or you can get to a different warp zone that takes you to worlds 6-8

i thought there was only 2 warp pipes? because that's all i've ever found the one at 1-2 and the one at 4-2 .

there is 2 warp zones. The first one you climb a vine to get to the second one is like the one at world 1-2, and like i said earlier if you watch my video you see it.

it's after the gap with the things that go down, jump at the 2nd tile skip the third and then jump on the 4th and 5th. break the blocks and wa-la a vine. the third tile you should only jump at if you are small mario

i know, I was lucky enough to get a snes at a garage sale for $10!

SMB Lost lvls runs slow on the psp also

I have a snes and know a place that sells all stars.But it like 40-50 bucks that a bit much for me...I think it might go on the wii store in a little while and pay 5 bucks for that...

wow really? the last time i saw it somewhere it was like 10 bucks. and yeah i agree playing snes games on psp just isn't the same. makes me wish i still had super mario rpg

If you use any warps then you cannot reach world 9.

When I went through lost levels I didn't use any warps, soi guess thats how i got to all the bonus levels, i thought that they were pretty easy compared to some of the required levels

Hm, I've had All-Stars my whole life and never really played the Lost Levels too much. I just played the first world and then got bored of it. If it's really as difficult as you say then I might take a whip at it, but I never knew it was meant to be a challenge like that, I figured they were just some crappy new levels for SMB1.

No, it's really frustrating. I've only gone through it once, well it's about to be twice, i'm about to go thru it again. Seeing this thread just makes me wanna play it again.
