I’m baffled… the TOTAL idiocracy… ! What am I rambling about? The totally insane outcome of a class-action-lawsuit settlement involving some granny and the creators of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas…

According to the settlement the creators have to pay people who were shocked by the “Hot Coffee” mod, which by the way had to be delibarate activated by the “poor victims”..

And yes now US citizens can get certain amounts of money back. Used for those who were “shocked” by the moving PIXELS…!!

AARGH…

Hereby I pleed for a BIG DONATION action to counter this crazyness. I’m glad to donate my $5.00 to the creators of GTA, as a big TIP for all the great hours playing the game!!!!

But that means "the man" gets my tax money and R* gets some money too. If I donate $5 to this paypal address at least some random guy I've never heard of gets it instead.

i couldn't care a Rats ass about the developers of GTA. all their games do , is create uneeded controversy in gaming. if i donated anything to them it would be a time bomb that when opened explodes and erases everybit of GTA from gaming history.

J/K, this lawsuit is actually a bit overboard.

my cousin wants in on the lawsuit just to use any money he would get to buy gta4(how many ever copies that may be) just for ironies sake

who really cares anyway? even though this is stupid it's not like rockstar can't pay it, they probably have trucks full of money laying around from the sales of past GTA games.

Rockstar won't have to pay it. Take Two would I assume.

I'm pretty sure Rockstar is far more well off than I am. They only lost $1 million + $35 to each 'offended' customer with a receipt.

Its not like they are going to go bankrupt and can't develop anymore. They don't need our money, this way. Just Buy GTA4, the 'Man' has already won this case.

And even though I'm in love with Rockstar, if I lived in the states I would have filed that claim to get my $35, since I still have the receipt from launch day. But I would still keep my Hot Coffee'd version of the game, because apparently its 'rare' now.
