The controller.
That thing rocked. It was impossible to play without it.

Though impractical you could play with a dance mat so please shut the hell up.

My favorite has to be the gun. many happy sessions of die hard using that thing

I still have my ps1 with 2 light guns and all games, including die hard. I was more into time crisis, and point blank, elemental gearbolt, and a few others.

I had a virtual memory card thing that had the capacity of 500(?) memory cards; it plugged into the mostly-unused (serial?) plug in the back of the system. Twas nifty.

Oh yeah the xplorer I had did that too. Well not 500 memory cards but you could backup saves to it, I think it had 16MB of memory, most of which was used by the cheats but there was plenty left over to back up all 4 of my memory cards.

My PS1 doesn't work anymore though, neither does my PSP so all my PS1 gaming is done on the PS3 without any cheat devices to make games interesting

PSOne LCD = Win. I don't know if it's the best, but it's definitely a must-have. Especially since you can get one for about $15 now.

i have psone with lcd screen, it is tight, but now that ps1 emulation in on psp, i rarely play them except light gun games, and those not compatible with psp.

Plus the old school systems are just fun to hook up sometimes. I have a dreamcast with light gun, mouse, and fishing contoller, and seaman with microphone. I play that stuff often, also Rez on dreamcast rules.

The power board inside it has ****ed up. At least I think that's what it is, I've tried two different batteries and two different chargers. It looks like it's charging but when I turn it on it will switch off after a few seconds (even in Recovery mode), same if I try it without the battery but with it plugged in.

I've ordered a new one on ebay though (limited edition crisis core slim).
