im not asking how to get back ups or even asking how to perform back a back up procedure!

When ever I try swapping disks either with cogswap, the Old PSX swap, or with swap magic, the disk refuses to spin when I lock the tray back with my slide card!

Could someone please tell me what the problem is!

Do normal games work ? (are you sure the laser works ?)

sounds like broken drive
you schould check if it can read audio cds
