After playing for a while and doing multiple big team battles, winning about half, I realized that I despise some aspects of Halo 2. Here they are.

Your allies are general dumb@$$es in objective based battles
They are really stupid. Instead of just grabbing the flag or arming the bomb, all the people care about is getting frags. I'll be running for the flag and half of my allies will just be sitting there attempting to snipe.

The weapon system is very, very unbalanced
It find it really annoying when im dual wielding smg's and i get killed by a guy standing next to me using a battle rifle. Sniper rifles are annoying as heck. They kill in 1 or 2 hits and they are able to kill you at close range and long range. Here's a little chart of the cheapest weapons in my opinion.
Pistol<Plasma rifle<SMG<Plasma Pistol<Carbine<BR<Sword<S hotgun<Rocket Launcher<Sniper.

People just do not freaking understand quitting
Quititng is bad, and annoying as hell. If one of your allies thinks you're going to lose, they just quit, which makes it even harder to win. What they don't realize is that quitting is worse then losing, you lose twice as many points then if you lose. And who knows, you may even win the game you quit if you hadn't quit. As I write this, my team is losing 30 to 3. I have 10 kills, i am the only one on my team, every one else quit, but instead of quitting, i am hiding in places near where i spawn, and i am eating crackers and writing this. That is much better then quitting.
Those are the first things i can think of, and im kind of lazy. Tell me what you guys hate about halo.

halo 2 added too many things that nobody i know liked (sword, new pistol, ect.)
my friends and i still have halo tournaments about once a month, halo 1 only
i liked playing through the 1player game for halo 2 but didnt like multiplayer at all
ill most likely just play halo 3 for the 1player as well... (

One thing: Battle rifles are more accurate than 2 smgs and they can get HS's.

Teams..well, just get a high enough level and some of the bad players aren't there anymore, but this problem can't be fixed

Yeah I hate it too that the teammates in halo 2 are pretty retarded , and they are really weak and outnumbered !

whenever u play as human , there are hundrets of aliens but like almost no human soldiers who help you , and if there are they die very fast.

and whenever u are an alien there are no alien mates for some reason , its so lame.

I hate Halo 2 because the movement is unreal and just is bulky feeling, cant lockon worth a darn, unlike Counter strike.

Also that gay shield thing pisses me off.. No skill what so ever. Where in CS, if you got hit, it stays. So it isnt a battle of luck and who keeps shields up..

Oh budd, thats only the tip of the iceberg. Halo 2 has the absolute WORST online community EVER. I really really hate the people in that game. If you dont have a socially challenged reject shouting in your ear, you have a 8 year old with a dirty mouth telling you to suck his balls. It's absolutely atrocious.

And mysticales, they can really go both ways. When i play counterstrike killing people is well....simple. And then you play halo and it takes more work.

There isent much wrong with halo2..Its fun..Addicting..and cool!

Sure the people there get annoying really really fast..Buti usually dont even bother to answer back or simply mute them...or just lower the volume in my headset(so i wont just stand there in a game and get shot while muting them.)

The only thing i hate is the Elites..
I LOVE elites..But when i go online..They are practically walking targets..They have NO advantage what so ever..Where as Spartans possess much smaller sizes and their head is actually up straight! You can practically shoot the elite in the "body" and it will be a head shot..The body is also fat enough for dual SMG's and a shotgun can easily kill an Elite...They are COMPLETELY USELESS!!!! It is even worse when every single plasma thrown sticks to you because of your wide body.
It would be much funner to see more Elites online..I sometimes go elites just to play around...

I heard that XBL for voice chatting has been fixed for the 360 for those who use wrongful language like: cussing and racial slurs. Which is yet another reason to get one.

How did they "fix" it??

I don't see how it would stop anyone from saying it that instant!!...

Even the XBL for The Regular Xbox has feedback you can send for people cursing among various of other choices..So far, i have not seen anyone be banned or get in trouble for cursing on live...So far...

Well I was channel surfing during MTV's gamORZ week(or whatever they called it) and i saw them giving out 360s(lucky SOBs')And they had a news thing mentioning about how annoying it was by interviewing those who casually play saying that they hate 12 year olds screaming racial slurs to people maybe there might be some moderation for the future of XBL....

Halo 2 Pros: Very Fun, Anyone can play, decent maps, even teams, matchmaking
Halo 2 Cons: Cheating, Gay little kids, Hit boxs, auto aim

As for the weapon balances they're very good. At least compared to other games like PDZ where only the SuperDragon owns. Ever try to get a no scope, the sniper is hard to use thats why its so powerfull. The BR is good at long range and if you can get head shots which takes more skill since the smg is just spray bullets everwhere. Also the SMG has horrible accuracy it goes left to right but the aa makes it great in close range. The game is overall fun but online its a horrible community. But who doesnt like to trash talk the other team sometimes.

Theres trash talking and theres being an a$$ for the sole purpose of making the game a bad experience. Is it better on the 360? I know it's kinda too early to tell.

Its a lot better on the xbox 360 becuase a) all the little b****s are on Halo 2 b) no one has an xbox 360. Unless its infection aka zombies where a lot of ppl team kill

Halo 2 can be ALOT of fun when you have the right people in the game. But most of the time its the community that ruins it and not the game itself. You can expect there to be more trash-talkers and cheaters because it was a HUGE release, people waited in lines for it. I love playing it online but it really also made me appreciate LANs with Halo:CE. I'm part of a group on Bungie.net that kind of troll around there on their forums, but we're not mean or dirty, we just like to make a few jokes and get some people to post that they actually laughed when they read our replies.

I love Halo 2. The only major problem I find is on XBOX Live with the cheaters. Another problem, is when you are playing a teammate and a couple of your teammates quit. It just gets annoying

That and like i said in another thread. How you can shoot the hell out of someone with a smg then they turn around and pop you like three times with a pistol and kill you.

Actually the auto aim is very subtle, you have to put forth some effort.
