I just got Star Wars:Republic Commando yesterday, and let me say, I love that game. It's a bit short, but every moment was intense, and it was a very tough game too. If you like this game, post! Also, if you play it on Xbox Live, I would love to try it out if anyone has it.

I rented it and liked it. Problem is, it gets very repetetive by the 3rd and 4th levels.

It did get a bit repetitive, but I never got sick of one thing. I would always snipe off the right arm of Super Battle Droids and watch them wander around aimlessly since they couldn't attack.

I played it on my computer because my friend had bought it and I stole it for a few, but I could not get past the leve lwhere you are on teh ship full of super droids -.- It was a fun game though.

I did watch my friend when he got to the part with the wookies and it looked awesome

Before I actually got the game, I played the demo about 45 times in one day just because I was so excited about it coming in the mail so I could finally play it.

The one thing i didn't like though is that there really weren't many weapons, and you really couldnt operate vehicles. Also, ammo was scarce for the sniper and the grenade launcher

Odly I don't recall ANY weapons -.- maybe I did not make it far enough into the game... all I know was the blaster rifle and teh pistol

blaster rifle, pistol, sniper, grenade launcher, geonsian gun, and i think there was some sort of shotgun

Ion Pulse Sniper Rifle (Sniper)
Anti-Armor charge launcher (Grenade Launcher)
DC-15s Side Arm Blaster (Pistol)

Trandoshan

Accelerated Charged Particle Repeater Gun (SMG)
ACP Array Gun (Shotgun)
L J-50 Concussion Rifle (Sniper Rifle? Not too sure on this one)
Araykd LS-150 Heavy ACP Repeater (Chaingun)

Geonosian

Geonosian Elite Beam Weapon (Laser)

Wookie

Wookie Bowcaster (Sniper Rifle, and can be used as a normal rifle)
Wookie Guided Rocket Launcher (Rocket Launcher, duh)

Grenades

Electrostatic Charge Detonator (EMP)
Diversionary Flash Detonator (Flashbang)
Thermal Detonator (Frag)
Sonic Detonator (Timed/Proximity, whichever comes first)

Yeah, it takes a while but you can charge it up. A head shot is devastating with one of those.

You know the rebar crossbow in Half Life is just a rip off of the bowcaster. That's just crazy... sniping with a bowcaster... hehe, so amusing.
