Use the Krayzie UXE installer. And ya i live in Mi its so f*ed up here it rained this morning now its like 70 F and tonight it drops down to 30 and tomorrow we might have snow.

also do i NEED to update my dashboard through live because i just bought it like 2 weeks ago.......and i need a good guide that tells me how to set up ftp.......or someother way to get apps on the xbox.......

The installer will tell you if your dash is high enough ver. and get all guides at xbox-scene. Usally as long as you have the live tab your good but just run a game like halo and click live and it will upgrade the dash even if your not connected or dont have live.

no you dont need to worry about the clock loop with the newer softmods, use uxe and you should be fine.

Thier the same. Like i traded my MA for a SC so right now i'm using the Krayzie_SC-NTSC_UXE_Installer_Dutch-English_v2.8

Hey, I read that if you boot up your Xbox with a game in it (instead of booting to the dashboard) that you wont get banned from Xbox live. Any truth to that?

You will still get banned. I think where the misunderstanding might have come from is that some modchips turn off when you press eject instead of power, so if you eject and load the game directly that way, it goes to sleep.

yeah its to do with the hard mods that can be switched off. the soft mods are all instant bans.

Well, what if I remove the Softmod? Will Live work? Or is my console permenently violated? 'Cause I'm sorta getting bored with the whole Softmod thing.

Besides the Geometry Wars Rip I have, it's nothing great.

Just Turn off the mod any you'll be able to go on live. No need to remove the the softmod unless you have to...plus a lot of my ex-friends got there dashes deleted when they uninstalled the softmod.

Run the linux gamesave it'll be like Turn Softmod On/Off. If memory serves me it should be above the Remove or uninstall Softmod option.
