One supposedly had a dead drive. the other one frags due a bad modchip install. and the third one i have no clue whats wrong with it.

God, I love my xbox... I've softmodded it and installed XBMC as the dashboard. By far the best piece of homebrew software ever created for a game system.

Playing Doom 3 right now

Woah I never heard of mods for an xbox! I thought it was only xbox360 that can be modded. What kind of mods are we talking about?

I just barely founf this thread, I have a Hard Modded Xbox with the Xecuter 3 Mod Chip and 250 gig HardDrive. Evox as the Dash but I also use XBMC and XBMP Man I love it

i wish i had a soft modded xbox... its all to complicated! all i want it for is to view pics, movies, internet, and ISO's! I read the xbox-scene tuts and the one i need is UDE2! can some one please talk to me on here about it?

Tons, as others have said, there is xbox media center, Various emulators for a variety of systems, dvd ripping, ftp support, network sharing, lots more.

Although if you have a 1.5 xbox or below, tsop flashig is still the way to go.

Ive had my Modded xbox for about two years now, with the executer 3 chip, but not much has come out for it thats exciting latley besides copying games thats always fun. But besides XBMC I dont use it much anymore. Somebody has to give me a link to something good and new. BTW I have pretty much every emulator so dont link those.

WEll, im just here to say I joined the modded xbox team, I softmodded mine with Ndures 3.0 pc installer, it was pretty easy, just the hotswapping took a few tries

Just soft modded mine with hotswaping, I have evolutionX dash installed, it's fricking sweet with n64 and ps1 emulation :d

I beg to differ, I only have an xbox and a PSP, so being able to play full screen n64 and ps1 games again is great.

How is the ps1 emulator, is it really like perfect, ive only used the n64 emu so far since i never owned one

it varies. the majority of the games are playable without too many problems, but it is not as advanced as the pc emulators.

Look at my xbox1.. lol!

New 80x80 fan, new casing(wich i dont use, cant hear it). one led is red and one is green. Case for the hdd, with activity led. and one green led. One modded usb port, to use with xbox linux or xbox media center. mouse, keyboard, memory pen..
The hdd cabel is IDE 133, better than the orginal IDE 100, its faster.
I don't see it, so i dont care about the looks of it.
Dont mind the dust everywhere.
