[Chao] The Chao thread! Sonic Adventure/Advance fun.

Hey all.. dont know, something.. I think the SonicX comics got me into a SERIOUS chao craze.. I loved to play them on the Dreamcast... so yesterday went and got Sonic Adventure DX, played, 1st time tried the GBA linkage.. FUN! Major improvement!

Today.. said hell with it. Got Sonic Advance 1 for GBA (For the SAVED Mini garden) then later Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. Since I hear ALOT more chao options are in SB2.

Anyways, started this thread to talk about it some. I read Gamefaqs some etc.. still confusing and so. I hear GBA SA1 was better since it had a save feature in the mini garden... Doesnt Sonic Advance 2 have save feature??? What did the SA2 have to offer in mini garden?

Also anyone have tips on best doing this.. since I know people transfers chao and items from SADX to SAB2.

Anyways, just seeing what everyone else knows here and if you have tips, tricks, understanding whats best game combos to use etc.. and if someone has Sonic Pinball Party.. please PM me... maybe I can trade or if your nice and dont want it anymore.. >.< lol

Figure since PSP is all talks about the Chao mini garden.. this thread could be for chao lovers too. =D

lol, How do I play chao games on DC, I only see them on the LCD of my VMU, but where do I play the actual games. And I have Sonic Adventure 1.

sonic advance 2 has the chao mini garden but the game itself sucks. sonic advance 1 is superior in a sense of the actual game itself.

On the DC. You had to export your chao to the VMU. Then IF your VMU had battery life.. you load up the VMU without the controller and access the chao to play, when your done, import them back in. Same concept idea with GBA.

Also I heard SA2 has better gfx and gameplay compaired to SA1.... I just hear chao was better in SA1.. but I cant get confirmation..

I also have the Sonic N which is a direct port to the Ngage.. It is indeed much easier to play it on the GBA tho.

SA2 battle messed up the chao gardens so bad. Then on the gba it removed the choa adventure games. But it was easier to raise them on the gba unless you used the vmu chao hack which let you make your guys stats.

sa 2 battle's chao garden is the best of them all i have never been so addicted to something in my life . and it's really easy to clone your chao's too.

it just is...well i didn't like that they removed the cave in the dark garden but it was just one simple thing and it wasn't a big deal.besides now you can buy different colored eggs and go to the black market big plus

Yes it was a big deal they made it worse, everything Sonic Team has done since SA2 on DC has either been bad.....or you can dload them from the black market online.

well i think that after sonic adventure DX came out all the games haven't been any fun to play except for sonic for ds

I have those versions, but im playing GC now.. In SAB2 for GC.. I cant goto chao gardens whenever I feel or...? When does the kindergarden come up? Seems SADX is easier for chao rasing.. I used the action replay for ds to give me tons of rings on gba lol which could port to gc =p

I can't see if the online server still works my DC broke. But the DC ver of SA2 is better because you could go online and get a bunch of skins, kart downloads and some other cool stuff which i saved to my like 3 memory cards. Plus their was this on custom chao game that was a chao editer on the vmu that let you chose the chaos stats. But my original(which i dont have) DC SA2 save was 100% beaten legit.

Wow.. all I played online with dc was PSO... like you I had 3 vmus.. since it was only like one char per or something, Downloading missions was nice..

VMU was a nice concept idea... GBA and GC expanded on it.. Now if we could keep that up.

Kinda wish I had broadband adapter for dc.. reason is.. If nothing else its the only console with a web browser, email etc, If your lucky to own version 2.. you got it made for kids later on... a safe browser, no virus etc.

Oh man...PSO. I gt to level 103 without any hacks on my gamecube. Then codes came out for it by using acion replay. I was pissed. Ruined the entire game for me. Anyways, If you guys love chaos, then check out the Chao garden portable (PSP) project over on the PSPupdates thread.
