thats the complete opposite of the reason i play halo 2!

i only play halo 2 for the campaign and i only play live because it's the only one that has it

mutliplayer sucks in halo 2. Halo 1 multiplayer is much better all it needs is xbox live.

Halo 2's multiplayer is good, but horibly unbalanced. Just because you like halo 1's multiplayer more, doesn't mean that you bought Halo 2 for the campaign.

Exactly, I agree that Halo takes it a bit far. If they removed th combo and offered a sword counter then it'd be perfect.

Oh it was very out of the ordinary. Very compelling and interesting story, decent weapons, vehicles (done RIGHT). Both are great games. And Halo 2 WAS overhyped...but things become overhyped when they're good.

yeah it does. The story of Halo is the entire reason i buy the games. same reason why i bought the books becuase it has a story on par with FF7 IMO

once you read all 3 of the novels it fleshes the story out ALOT. and makes it very interesting .

How can you possible say that halo 1's campain was repeptitive, the only repetive thing i can see from ahlo 1 is the library, and the two snow levels, but even thought they are the same exact level, just one is basiclly backwards, they are still my favorite two levels in halo, just look at halo 2, the missions are long, tedious, boring, and repetive, i sometimes get lost in halo 2 levels because i think i may be going in circles.

Halo 1 campain > Halo 2 campain by a long shot
