And I hated with a passion Mario Cart 64, because I felt it was horrible in comparison to the Super Nintendo version (my second fav. game of all time).
And since halo seems to be in the discussion alot I just thought I would point out that i own an xbox just because of that game. I know of no other games for xbox that need to be owned that are not also on Playstation 2. I prefer PS2 games mostly because of the controller and some game control schemes (such as driver: parallel lines).
Heh, same thing for 360, I purchased one for the sole reason of "Oblivion". My PC could not handle the game so I decided to go the cheaper route and get a 360. But 360 atleast has some promise in the future...once gears of war and fear comes out.
But all in all no system will ever compare to the original Nintendo, because all the games bring back memories of my childhood which I wish I could experience again. Getting old sucks b*lls.
the only thing i think that nintendo lacked after the snes was a good ammount of rpgs on their systems.
the snes or SFC had tons of rpgs , making it THE system to own at the time for games like me. The N64 on the other hand had like .....3 or 4 rpgs that i know of. And the same thing goes with the gamecube.
I always pick the system with the most rpgssssssss
it had pokem lolQuote:

ahh, wtf! I'm 13 and I still tear up at the thought of Goldeneye! He deserves to be hung up by his toenails wqhile be violated up the ass by a dog.
Hehe, thinking of the n64 makes me think of when I got super mario 64 ($65 btw, lol). I tried and tried again, but I could not beat the last bowser. I beat him afew months ago actually (my save got deleted so I had a 13 hour mario marithon, lol).
But you can't appreciate the N64 unless you have played the NES (hehe, I still remember Mike Tyson Boxing and nightmare on elm street...). Beat both games eventually :)
<EDIT> as some people are bringing up Halo, I have to say, it is probably the most over rated, hyped up game to date. I mean, there are so many other great shooters. The only reason it's so popular is because it's practically the xbox's only decent game.
punch the little fool im 14 and the n64 is honestly the greatest system ever but disputable with the dreamcast and ps1
This is why i think that little kids should not play video games. If they are going to bash the retro games just because of poor graphics and bad controls, I would just punch them all in the teeth and bring them back to preschool (not like i would actually do that, but i would get mad)

golden eye was and still is one of the best games ever made.
THE BEST game of all time. Not one of them. THE one. THE only. This 12 year old kid better never say anything again or I'll 'tenderise' his undoubtedly hideous face with my Klobb. Then finish him off with an R-PC90! Spray and pray!Quote:

Goldeneye = Awesome memories of fun times where my brothers, my dad, and i all used to play together.
O M G. What a loser saying goldeneye sucks. He should grow up or die. I grew up playing that game and it was awesome and I still like it alot.
I grew up playing this game, did not really care for it now...or then. (only thing good about it was playing with friends.)
I never really got into the Goldeneye series. Is now a good time to try them?
