Today I went to my local pawn shop, and I looked over the counter in all its buety, a virtual boy, I ask for a price and I bought it for a simple 8$, and mario tennis for 5$, so I get home and realize I have no controller

So I go to my ebgames, and in the bargain bin, they actually had a virtual boy controller, for 50 cents!! So I go back home and play it, and I think my vision is impaired and it gives me stomach aches, so I think if I play it every morning, I can skip school for the rest of the year

What do you think?

its like goggles, you have to put your eyes through the slots, and its not very portable not all

no offense but id rather have a hotdog strapped to a stick than a virtual boy, my cousin gave me his a while back i actually burnt it in my fire pit

anyways, I actually collect old systems. I have Intellivions 2-3 Atair 2600, nes to gamecube (all systems inbetween), every gameboy, like everyone (not colors but different models) ps1 fat-ps2 slim, xbox, and sega saturn genesis, and dreamcast, gamegear, atari Lynx, and... Nintendo ds phat and lite, and a psp. and of course Virtual boy,

I dont really play video games, I just like to collect the systems.

It was Nintendo's big mistake after the gameboy and before the Nintendo 64. I'm actually working on a Virtual Boy emulator for the PSP, based off Red Dragon. There are games for it that are actually fun. Vertical Strike, Mario Tennis, Mario Clash, Red Alarm and many others.

Anyways, good find. I've never played one before, but emulator I've used has a replica of it, and it ain't purty... Red with greenish shadows and flickering and ugh... Know what's even funnier? When you first start it up, similar to the Wii's warning screen, it has a screen saying 'Would you like to turn automatic pause on or off?' where automatic pause stops every 30 minutes and forces you to take a break.

I tried the Virtual Boy a long time ago when it was first released. It had just come out and my family rented it from Blockbuster. My parents only let me look in it for 5 or so seconds because supposedly you had to be at least 10 years old to use it.

If I could get one for $12.50 I would diffidently buy it. You got a great deal.

That's ridiculous... Headaches, and non-stop vomiting are worth way more than $12.50.

If only I could be so lucky.
