it won't let me open my "add/remove programs" or my "screens and graphics" along with many other programs.

Looks like you ****ed something up,I cant really help you much from here...
All I can say is back up your data and format and reinstall ubuntu... It always better to do a little fresh install when a major update to your os comes out..

burn them to a disk or copy them to a external hard drive. i can't remember but install disk may have a option to keep certain files. also there may be a backup option in ubuntu and im looking right now but i'm not seeing one (i may be blind though.)

k thanks.
i'm actually getting an external hd tomorrow ![]() but if i re-install, will it delete everything, or is it just as a precaution, i'm gunna back-up anyway, but just wondering. also, is it possible to just install 7.04 from 7.10. |
