Ok, so here's how it is:
My ISP hires monkeys that sit around and do nothing all day but troubleshoot Windows. They don't even know what ubuntu is. Everything's been fine until the last few days. Now ubuntu refuses to obtain an IP address, but the Gentoo Live DVD works fine. Anyone know how DHCP works on the Gentoo LiveDVD/How to replicate it?
When it's starting up, it only displays this:
Network device eth0 found, broadcasting for DHCP.
