Ok, I have had a few problems with Linux, one of them being the amount of things you have to install to get other things working.
An example being when I wanted to install devc++ for linux I got:
-- INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS --
* First you need to make sure you have a installed all the C/C++ development packages when installing your distribution (those packages contains gcc, g++, make, standard include files and libraries). You should be able to obtain them on you distribution CD/web site.
How do I get those? I checked out the Ubuntu site but have no clue, is there like a page with a list of terminal commands and the names of things like this like
sudo apt-get nameofwhatIwant and then what that thing is for?
This is really bugging me.
