im trying all sorts of different torrent downloads there all under 15kbps, and im on highspeed DSL. im using bittorrent. question is why in the hell is it so slow.

this isnt against the rules right? since im not asking for any illgeal downloads, sites, etc.

500k points to the 1st person who can tell me how to get it working

Torrents aren't illegal.

Sounds like your ports are blocked. Try this site.

umm behind a router are you?? try portforwarding.
or maybe your ISP has capped P2P downloading limits.
I know mine has

i think i configured my router but the speeds are still super slow, actually it got slower, went from 3 days to 22days ROFL

Try this torrent. Tons of seeders, so you should get good speeds.

its not the seeders cause the thing im trying to DL has like 100+

Download Utorrent and run it, then see if there's a check at the bottom. If there is, the ports are forward, if there isn't, they aren't.

ok i dont see a check but theres a exclamiation mark that says "No incoming connections this could indicate a problem with ur network configuration"

i did the guide just now, it didnt do much, its 10.5 kbps(download) and 15.1kbps(upload)

i unblocked the port idk
any1 else have any ideas? please help i need to have this 1.38gig download by 2morrow

no that most probably has nothing to do with it. Whats your maximum download speed? on utorrent ?

if it's on a number set it to 0 and set uploads to about 30kb. Also i know it sounds dumb but check your windows firewall. I recently had the same problem.

there both on 0
i have windows firewall off, only firewall up is the one on the routuer

well first off, the program shouldn't have anything to do with it. i personally use Azureus and i love it. but make sure your firewall is not blocking it. try turning off the firewall all together and see what you get
