What do you think Microsoft is up for? When is the next operating system gonna be released? Whats it going to be called? What is it going to have?

It's going to be called Windows. I can guarantee that. And most likely it will be about 5 years before we start seeing/hearing about codenames, early builds being seen. Then 5-7 years before it is actually released.

Hopefully they'll take some more interest in efficiency next time too, so we won't need new computers every time they roll out a new OS.

Actually they 'plan' to release it in 2 years as a minor upgrade http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_%22Vienna%22

Knowing Microsoft, they will probably delay it for ages though.
