When you say that you are using 2 filters on the lead do you mean ---filter----filter----modem---PC ?
If so I would recommend removing one of those as its fairly pointless as one is enough.

If you plug your phone directly into the phone line, i.e. on filter, then that's more then likely what is causing the trouble. I had the same problem which was fixed by simply making your the phone was plugged into the phone side of the filter and not directly into the phone line.

Hope I helped.

Nothing, I haven't contacted them. It happened with my other one so I don't think is a problem on their side.

are you using a wireless router by chance. Because the frequency 2.4. The same as most cordless phones. If so try changing your channel for you router. Or try moving you computer to a different location. Could be a microwave.

Yeah but I thought I would check it up on here first, you know what the call center people are like

@JoeDaStudd: I can't they are my 'extension cord' kinda thing, since I don't have a long enough modem cord I use the filters to be and extension. Also, the phone is in there somewhere.

To avoid any interuption the phone should be connected to the filter closest to the phone line.
