Default GAH!!!! BIG Router Issues!

We got Comcast Digital Voice yesterday, and the router wasn't on since the guy said he wasn't allowed to install it due to Comcast. Right...
Anyway, the Internet was working fine, so I didn't think nothing of it. I connected the modem to the router, turned the router on, fine and dandy. But, when I try to go on the net with my PS3, it won't connect. I then try the WIFI, doesn't connect, but the router is broadcasting.... I then try it with my PSP, it connects, but the WIFI light blinks rapidly and does nothing...

What is the problem!?!? I'm going crazy trying to get this to work!

What ISP do you have? When I switched from AT&T DSL to Comcast Cable, I had to change some major router settings..

Also, a problem I've had slightly similar to that is to change the frequency (or channel) of which the wifi operates on. My router conflicted with the frequency of my cordless telephone.

Comcast Cable.
How would I change the settings? I just found out I can't connect to the router via its IP address, even though it's connected.

My phone also gets a lot of static. Could that be from the router, because it is broadcasting.

See, I was gonna have you config the router through IP address in the browser .

Um... I guess you could run the CD that might have came with your router. Other than that, you could try "repairing" your internet connection through windows, but since the PSP and PS3 don't work, I doubt that's the case at all.

CD didn't help either. It sees my connection as not responding, though it clearly is...

I'm on tech support right now.

OK, new problem. The router won't even take a connection! The Internet just gave out on it and it was working fine before...
I had to connect the modem directly to the computer.

BTW: Tech support left me on hold for an hour, so I hung up.

i have problems with mine whenever my power goes out

try resetting both modem and rotuer hold down the button for 30 seconds

if not go to a web browser type 192.168.1.1 (standard idk if u changed it or not) check settings depending on ur connection see what type of conection ur router is st on (mine is PPPoE i think)

last time i called linksys they said windows firewall interfers with the routers firewall so disable windows firewall

thats all i can think of

Got it fixed. I messed with the modem a bit, and found out you can connect to it like a router. Then, I just changed some settings
