I couldn't find any other use for them. I'm hoping to upgrade my psu (probably a Corsair) and my case (Antec 1200).

sweet Evab3vA!
seems like you face the Antec PSU problem
does that small gap between the GFX card and PSU give you a little bit of "heat"?

Nah the card runs quite cool actually, max temp with 80% fan with a big overclock is 90 degrees C using Furmark. General use is easily under 80 degrees C. The BFG GTX280 I RMA'd reached 105 degrees in about 60 seconds in comparison!! Some bad cards out there.

I'll take some shots inside the case in a bit, I actually have an X-Fi Fatal1ty inbetween the 280 and PSU anyway.

Stock settings :- 602 Core / 1296 Shader / 2214 Memory

Overclock (so far) :- 702 Core / 1500 Shader / 2600 Memory

Not bad really!

17% increase across the board pretty much which probably translates to about 10% boost in FPS in the real world I would guess.

Ya I heard that this card gives extremely smooth gameplay...I'm jealous, especially with the price drops.

Very loud. But due to the position of the socket I couldn't fit my silent Zalman cooler in

The gfx card is kinda whizzy too but that's because it's a single slot cooler. I was expecting that to be loud.

You may be able to turn down the fan on the graphics card using RivaTuner. I don't know about the intel cooler though, that thing just sucks.

lol i just got a new one, so thats not an option. My goal was to get a Corsair psu, and the the best modular one was 620w, and I like the 750w better. Besides I haven't really even tried cable management on this case yet, i'll do it like tomorrow or something.
