Today I suddenly started geting pop-up from IE while not using. I didn't start up IE at all and I only use FF. So what do you all think could be causeing the pop-ups?

Nod32 or AVG for the virus scanner, AdAdware and Spybot: Search and Destory for the spyware.

I had this same problem. It was from a program I downloaded. You're probably going to have to start Windows in Safe Mode, run a couple spyware/virus checks, and maybe even manually pull that crap out of there.

Very few viruses actually damage the PC. Software wise, of course, but hardware, not really.

Funnily enough the same thing has just happened to me. Booted into Safe Mode, ran AVG scan and Ad-Aware SE scan and it's sorted.

I can't get rid of it! It keeps coming back! Keeps finding trojans and Smitfraudtoolbar or something and I keep getting popups from sites like 888 Gambling and MyDebtSolutions. What should I do?
