Default TV Tuner..

Well, the lowdown is when I get my new PC there will be a free PCI slot for something and I was thinking of a TV tuner. I need one that:

- Allows me to watch Freeview (I live in UK)
- Is less than £50
- Is good value for money

Thanks

I dont know what Freeview is but i recommend the Dell USB Angel TV tuner. Cheap I was able to get one for $34 new. It only works with Media Center so it says. Comes with a remote. I havent had any problems. Records tv shows in HD too. With Media Center it allows you put in your zip code so it knows what region your in to broadcast your local tv stations.

EDIT: Not sure it will work says NTSC format so I assume It wont work in the UK?

Umm... Scan.co.uk

Prices can't be beaten IMO (unless of course you try eBay, but I am always weary about PC parts on that site as refunds can be a big problem). The stuff they have is all quality brand names etc. Can't go wrong with them.

Well, for Americans, I'm looking for a DVB-T TV Tuner for less than £50 that is reliable and I won't have any problems with.

I was looking at this one

That's all you'll need for just watching TV on a PC, unless you want to externally record the TV?

thats what a TV card does... I have one for my laptop (I live in the UK) and I have media center, and I can watch TV through that and record it to my HDD.

The only thing Media Center is good for...
