Ok can anyone tell my how to install Nero 7 on vista. Ive downloaded the latest trail...I click "Run as administrator" on the file and then it starts up, so it goes through extracting nero contents stuff right, then the "Want to install Ask Toolbar" pops up... I click no, later the "Preparing Installing" loading bar comes up and after that the installer window pops up saying "Setting up installer please wait" I wait...then it quits. Nothing happens at all. The installation window never comes up. I check the task manager to see if its running in the background, nothing. Can anyone tell me how to install Nero properly on Vista.

BTW I already tried to run it in XP compatibility Mode, same thing its quits.

You need to go to the Nero website and download and run the general clean tool. That removes all traces of Nero that is conflicting.
After you have ran that, go back to the Nero sit and download the new version

or try using something that better than nero and free

I've done that, all i keep getting is and error saying "Microsoft Registry...has stopped working". Then the program freezes and I'm forced to quit with task manager.

Wired have you tried to install any other app.

I don't see why it wouldn't. I have many other apps on my pc like photoshop, itunes, dvd creators, etc if you wanted to know. Im not having any other trouble installing any other apps, just this one.

Seems to be working fine, i have never used nero before so it is all new to me.
