Default Speakers Not Working [100 Mill For Help]

My speakers currently aren't working on Windows, and all notifications, or small noises to alert me of something are Windows Error Beeps. Also, my audio for music or videos etc, doesn't work.

100 Mill for the person who helps.

Audio works on Ubuntu, also.

What the **** does that mean. What did you do to 'reinstall' them?

I've gotten drivers, and installed them, they where for audio, but my audio still refuses to work.

Did you uninstall your current drivers beforehand and make sure the drivers you got were designed for your chipset?

Go into Device Manager, find your audio, go to Properties, the drivers tab, then uninstall.

there are only 2 obvious problems:
1) ur drivers are not installed correctly or at all
2) you sound card is broken
2 is obvious to solve, just buy a new soundcard.
to solve 1 do the following:
Right click my computer
properties
hardware tab
device manager
once there u should see names with yellow icons in a exclamation They should be labeled as unknown. /question mark. Right click one then click update drivers. If windows cannot find the drivers then install driver magic (trail ver or if u can find a 'full' ver) and that should auto update all the drivers that are unknown.

I think my driver is either something Legacy or Audio Codec.

I've installed those drivers, but besides that, I've done everything.
