Default How to get rid of backgrounds from windows properties

Hey guys, i have this problem:

In properties where you change your desktop background, i seem to have 100's of my pictures. I never selected these to be a background , and their too many of them just getting in the way of the actual backgrounds i want to select. So my question is, how do i get rid of them from the background selection area. Thnx

Move anything you don't want in there to another folder. By default, Windows displays everything within the "My Pictures" folder and any folder under it.

Does everyone who use the computer login with the same username? If not, then you have nothing to worry about because Windows makes a Documents and Settings folder for each user.

I can't remember if you can change the behavior or not. I would assume you could modify the registry but the result would probably be worse than attaching a sticky note on the monitor stating "our images are now here .."

There's going to be a few standard images that will always show up in the properties window but if you empty out the My Pictures folder you should definitely find the list has decreased.

The only reason I can think of that it would still show them is if you kept the properties window open the whole time (it wouldn't update the list in that case).
