Play my brother at cs 1.6 over a Local area network. Please help

just play over LAN.
is your bros comp in the same house as yours?
in my house we have his thing called D-Link, we hook our comps to it and we can play Ages of Empires together without internet.

or u could just use a single Ethernet cable, and network the computers...

D-Link is a company. They make routers.
