Well, i'm looking for a new one which is easy to use and not a system hog, i want one easily configurable for torrents and stuff.

I use norton.
But dunno it's supposedly a system hog.
I can torrent just fine with it though

Zone Alarm. It's free, I don't have any trouble with resources, and it's easy to configure. Whenever something tries to access the internet, it asks you if it's OK (you can remember the setting). Norton can sometimes be a hog if you've got the anti-virus and stuff installed. But if you want anti-virus too, then you can't complain. AVG is a good free antivirus.

So as long as you hit yes for your torrent client, you're golden.

I think i'll use ZA, i had it but it ****ed up sometime so tehn i went to Comodo, Zonealarm is eassy to use and Seany, GET RID OF THAT SON OF A ***** NORTON< IT IS THE BIGGEST RESOURCE HOG OF THEM ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Comodo is **** for torrents, it blocks the ip and ports for torrenting, i had 20kbps dl speed, then i switched now its 250 :O

AVG Pro. Not had a virus since I got it, it's great. None of this McAffee **** for me anymore.

Oh, and also AVG Free is great if you can't be arsed shelling out for Pro, I had that for a year and it was great.

stops my computer fuxxing.
I had avg for a week and started getting missing dll files

I've gone 6 years without any virus scan software and have only gotten 1, and that worm everyone got.

I do like the ZoneAlarm though. Keeps all that pirated software from trying to update itself.

i dont use a firewall and i dont seem to have any problems. but then again, i practice safe browsing habits and use HijackThis and take up too much bandwith on my dial up connection for daggone anything to get through.

I use comodo i use ti use zone alarm but i didnt like it always timing out the connection for the internet so i never used to be able to login
