Default Power on but no boot

Just got a new CPU and motherboard so I wanted to install it in my computer. The CPU is a Core 2 Duo E4300 and the motherboard is a ECS P4M800PRO-M. I believe I connected everything correctly but when I power on, nothing is displayed on the monitor. I've tried connecting the monitor to the onboard graphics and my AGP graphics card but neither works. Also my computer is making some strange clicking sound. Anybody know what's going on? Could this be because I'm using DDR 333 memory while the board supports DDR 400?

I think I figured out why its not working. Only the latest BIOS firmware supports the E4300. Now my problem is figuring out how to update the BIOS if it wont POST.

It's your memory.
The clicking sound that you hear is your HDD.

I buyed the wrong DDR stick
I bought some new ones and it worked!

if that is the case then use another computer and place the bios update on a floppy, then in bios go to bios update and choose ur floppy as the source.
