Below as you can see, my menu bar (?) is colored weirdly, what can be the cause of this???

it doesnt look that serious in the picture, dunno why..... but it is ... looks gross...

Did you try the old reboot?
What new software did you install?

you might want to try customer support although they probably dont even know what it is... if your on vista, then it might be a new error that came up... but if your on xp then it could be something someone else has come across... if microsoft has a help forum or something similar on your site you might wanna try to post there

I know what he is on about. It looks like something has been 'burned' onto the screen. It does it to me in Paint. It's a tad yellow at the top

^^ yup. absolutely right. that is soooo irritating. no new programs installed. and yes i tried moving the window around. what did you do about it Dan?

OMG. did u try reintalling windows?

easy to solve...just right click your desktop, then click properties...click the 'settings tab' then change "colour quality" to "highest (32bit)"

and voila...problem solved

and to everyone flaming eachother...just stop...

^^ OMG! lol i feel like an idiot. Thanks a lot willonler !! you saved me a windows reisntall . sometimes the easiest solution to a problem is staring you in the face and you refuse to look at it.
