I downloaded a RAR archive, about 5 GBs big. I tried extracting it but I had the wrong password. I deleted some old archives and my hard drive went to 2GB to 10GB in order to fit the uncompressed RAR. Everything it told me I had the wrong password, I tried again. Now when I checked my hard drives memory space it went down to 535MBs. I'm guessing not half of the compresses rar was saved somewhere in my computer, but I can't seems to find it. Anyone know where I can find it?

If you know the name search for it.

Try running Disk Cleanup

And select the option to clean temp folders and files.

It should give you an estimate size of the temp files.

If its extremely large then you found the right option
