Whats the best way to transfer files between pcs without a external harddrive or a usb thumb drive? I have some 2gb-7gb files im trying to transfer to my new laptop.

Network, just setup file sharing.

lol wasnt even thinking about that thanks. Last question if I take my tv shows I recorded on my media center pc and put them on my vista pc will they show up in media center in vista?

I can't imagine why they wouldn't (but I don't know to much about Vista).

Yes they will, yes network connection works well

. I've transfered about that amount in music files. Be prepared to wait a bit even still tough

Ya I just set up a network too me about 2 hours to transfer all 7 Seasons of Boy Meets World. Now I need to transfer 70gbs of recorded tv shows =/

Well I was going to say use your Zune...If you did that hack that let you use it as a external HDD...

Ya I was thinking about doing that but the hack says Windows XP only not sure if it works with vista.
