Why did you start a new thread? Your question was answered in the last one.

Because my last thread was different. And the answer to my question in this thread wasn't answered in the other one.

I guess I didn't word it right. I meant how do you set up a network between the two since its not as simple as it is networking a xp pc to a xp pc. After searching it seems this a known annoyance with vista and is a pain setting a network between vista and xp pcs.

I haven't been on vista in a while but if I remember correctly you have the two on the same network (obviously). Then you make a folder (in XP) and put all the stuff you want transferred in it. After that right-click on the folder and click "Sharing and Security..." and then click "If you understand the security risks ..." then check "Just enable file sharing" then click OK and then check both boxes that appear and give it some kind of name. Then (on Vista) got to Start-> Network -> xp computer -> your folder and then transfer

Ya the problem is my xp pc isnt showing up at all in the Network and Sharing Center. It might be because of my firewall.

EDIT: My firewall was the problem. Fixed now
