Default How can I disable my wireless modem?

I activated the WEP password but the wireless light is still flashing, so I'm guessing there was a chance someone hacked into it.

I don't really use it, so I was wondering if I can disable it?

What's the model of your router? I could most likely help you.

Essentially log in to the router via web browser and you should have an option to disable wireless in the settings somewhere.

If you forgot the password then you could do a hardware reset, there should be a small button on the unit which resets everything back to factory defaults. I dunno if there exists a program to hack into wireless routers.

It asks me for a password, but I forgot it.

I tried reseting the modem but it's still asking me for it.
