Default Bitcomet and Vista Network Problems.

I have a problem, I used to use bitcomet alot, and its my favorite torrent downloader, but lately its been shutting of not only my internet, but also my network.

It runs great for about 20 minutes, then it shuts down my internet, and I cant even browse my shared network folders, yet im still connected to my network and bitcomet is still downloading.

??? I dont get it, it doesnt shut down my internet, it just kind of blocks it, in every browser, but bitcomet just keeps on downloading, and everything else in my network still works (other computer still has internet, 360 still goes on LIVE, and Xbox Media Center still streams video perfect)

Ive tried it with IE and FF,and the only way to get it working is to restart the computer.

Ok Ive tried the following

1. Resetting the router
2. Resetting the modem
3. Disconnect and reconnect from the network
4. Disabling and enabling the network connection
5. Trying to diagnose the connection

None of these work, to get it working I have to restart the computer.

I have a 1.8 ghz laptop with 1Gig of ram, running Vista
with a WRT-300N router on a DHCP Wireless G network.

Thanks in Advance

uTorrent is a lightweight 214kb exe file. That's it and its the best out there. Azureus is good and bloated with features but it's memory hungry because its written in Java.

It wont trust me. I had the same problem as you when I used BitComet, but when I switched to uTorrent all the problems were gone.
