Well I thought vista's sidebar would have countless applications for you to choose from. I was wrong. Is anyone else disappointed with the number of gadgets available? OSX's dashboard pwns the sidebar with gadgets.

Are there any good side bar gadgets available?

You can make your own gadgets but I don't know how.

I gave up on the sidebar after 2 weeks.

There are over 1300 different gadgets you can download from windows live gallery imo thats a good amount.

Yeah there is a crapload of gadgets but I don't find much use out of any of them.

I really like the RSS feeds, xbl gamertag, Halo 3 coutdown and media player ones. There the only ones I use since they take up quite a bit of space on the desktop.

I really dont see the point in dashboard or this crap all they do it take up ram space....Most things other than the xml and a few others dont do to much that you can get...So unless you got stock or live on wow there is no need for this crap...
