can mount a USB device onto a Virtual Serial (COM) port?

I've been looking everywhere because my phones cable won't allow the computer to assign it to a COM port so I need something like Serial Port Emulation and mount the USB device onto it to give the USB Device a COM port number.

Anyone know anything that can do this?

WHat kinda of phone is it...If it anything that you can add exturnal media to it ex mini sd card your best of buying a card reader...

I'm trying to use Dejans BB5 Unlocker but now i've brought 2 different cables but both of them aren't right for the flashing!

Both the cables i've got are DKU-2 which aren't correct as they only have 6 pins, the cable I need is a DKU-5 with 11 pins and it has a chip to make it act as a serial device, but I don't know where to get a DKU-5 cable from so I need something that can create a virtual COM port and mount a USB device onto it
