Okay heres a tricky one. I bought a Vista ready laptop about a year ago, and finally upgraded to Vista.
It took me a while to find my audio drivers, but thats not the problem, the problem is that when my computer is on the "Balanced" power plan my computer doesnt shut down completely, its like it shuts off windows , but all the lights are still on, and I can still hear the fan, and the wireless internet is still on. In order to use it again or to turn it "ON" I have to first leave the power button pressed for a while so I can force it to turn off. The weird thing is that it works perfect on the "Power Saver" and "High Performance" options, but I need Balanced sometimes in case I leave my computer alone for a while, and I want it to manually go in to power saver. |
