I cant connect to the internet with firefox, no matter if i roll back to previous versions or i uninstall and then reinstall.

It was working fine yesterday, and now i have to use internet explorer (which i hate). Everything else connects to the internet jutt fine

XP or vista?
Do this...go to your documentsettings folder and look for your username>appdata>mozilla

Delete that folder...I found out even if you uninstall mozilla it still keeps that folder. The above might not be 100% right but I think you can figure it out.

and im on XP, deleting that folder didnt help

Weird...that folder contains all the settings, plugins, add-ons that firfox uses.

Remember how I had problems with java not working in firefox...I finally resolved it by deleting every application setting folder for mozilla on my drive for every user, including defualt user.

Shame, the same didn't work for tave.

imo this seems like a bad setting in firefox or a firewall....

Probably...those setting folders don't get deleted when you uninstall firefox...

it only works if i check the compatibility mode...and thats if i run it under compatiblity mode for windows 95, even then it crashes when i try to import my bookmarks
